It's a bird. It's a plane. It's No Man's Sky.

No Man's Sky has been one of those games that's been incredibly difficult to nail down. We've gotten tidbits of information here and there regarding the immense size of the game and what we hope isn't hyperbole-filled statements surrounding planetary exploration but not a ton of detail.

For me, up until E3 2015, I wasn't necessarily sold on the game. It was interesting but I wanted to see more and that brief presentation quickly changed my opinion. The presentation clocked in somewhere around 5 minutes and 30 seconds but it was 5 minutes which highlighted the enormity of what this developer is trying to accomplish. And it's impressive.

No Man's Sky has become not only a day 1 purchase for me but a game I'm actively rooting for.

IGN was lucky enough to get 18-minutes of gameplay with Sean Murray, founder of No Man's Sky development house Hello Games.

I highly recommend checking it out. No Man's Sky is poised to be one of the more ambitious and interesting games heading our way in the near future. I'm looking forward to some exploration.

Because I want to be the first to discover my own planet.
