Don't Be Sad. You Never Have to Leave the Wasteland Again!
I'm not sure that much more needs to be said. This is just excellent news. Well, mostly excellent news. Quite a few of your friends, relatives, and other loved ones will be lost to the Wasteland of Fallout for what could be decades. We just don't know yet.
We do know this, though. You can be compassionate and caring. Bring them water. Pretend you're also in the Wasteland and provide them with quests; "Go to the store and you'll be rewarded with bottle caps and "brahmin" meat." But understand that the Wasteland is not to be taken lightly and you should tread carefully. Or just kick them off the damn couch, whatever works for you.
